A Decade in Space, an Era in Space History
APL's Midcourse Space Experiment (MSX) marked a milestone this year, celebrating ten years in space. Part of an elite class of long-term operational space missions, MSX remains busy. Its tenure has included not only DoD space situational awareness, but also studying the composition and dynamics of the Earth's atmosphere to observing the Hale-Bopp comet.
